A Graduation Celebration...

These videos are clips from my Graduation Celebration with my family and Interplay dance group. Not all of them are from my own camera, but because the event was so special, I decided to post them anyways. (Mine are the better quality clips) Some of the clips will direct you to another photobucket webpage to view them.

Postcards to Michael:
In this clip are improvised postcards sent to me by everyone at the celebration. My appologies but this clip has been cut off at the very end, but the majority of it is available.

"One Bread, One Body" Mother playing piano, friend Stan playing guitar, and myself on flute while interplay group warms up for the celebration:

Love Greater Than you can Imagine:
Side-By-Side Contact-Partner dance with Trichia and myself, and to the right is Anita and Will, followed by Patty and Will; all dancing to the phrase, "Love Greater Than you can Imagine"

Balance and Birth:
Dancing to the phrases Balance and Birth, the group improvises in body stories, movement, contact, and following and leading; celebrating these energies through their pure expression.

Introduction to Postcards:
Ending the contemporary version of One Bread One Body with the phrase "We Are One Body in this Deep Understanding", Anita introduces to the class the tradition of the birth canal ritual, celebrating special passages in one's life, and the form of Postcards.
